An API-421 Oil in Water Separator is a channel system designed to provide quiescent flow conditions. The quiescent flow conditions created by the separator allow the free oil to rise toward the water surface then coalesce into a separate oil phase above the liquid to be processed.
Enviro-Tech Systems offers numerous skimmers in addition to the API-421. ETS Skimmers can be either vertical or horizontal in configuration, and range from atmospheric to ASME Code Pressure Vessels. ETS Skimmers can remove from 150 micron down to 50 micron size contaminants, and possess the ability to clean oily sands and solids.
The Enviro-Sep™ Plate Separator receives produced water through the inlet into the primary inlet chamber with solids settling to the bottom of this compartment and free oil forming an interface above the liquid level. Separated liquids pass through a removable distribution plate creating an even flow distribution across the width of the plate pack for optimum flow characteristics.
The Enviro-Cell™ is designed to provide three (3) important phases in oil/water separation. First it provides an efficient method of creating the flotation process with minimum moving parts. Secondly, the Enviro-Cell offers a simple method to remove the separated oil and finally it provides sufficient retention time for the process to work correctly.

The Sumperator is the final stage of the open drain and/or produced water treatment system and is will remove all oil globules larger than 50 micros. The Sumperator should be your preferred caisson for applications where strict adherence to environmental regulations is a concern.
ETS sump tanks are typically used to collect and treat water from drainage collection tanks, oily water runoff and equipment skids. Our Sump tanks come in a range of sizes and configurations to accommodate specific needs. In addition, the tanks are equipped with oil skimmer weir system and oil removal pumps. Coalescing media along with plate packs are available if added efficiency is needed.

The Enviro-Tech retractable sampler allows for manual effluent sampling on any Enviro-Tech equipment. The design also allows for replacement of the sampling tubing while the equipment remains in operation.
